Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, if you please,
Daily walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

I am weak, but Thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Through this world of toil and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

From one of my old notebooks with list of hymns. It's interesting to note:  I have various hymnbooks way back a copy of a worn out red-bound The Hymnal for Youth I dearly love, to my latest acquired hymnbook, Then Sings my Soul, but I can't seem to find lyrics of this hymn anywhere.
