About Wayfarer Psalms

Wayfarer Psalms web site is simply that - reflections through hymns and verses of a wayfarer, a pilgrim, singing praises and thanking the Almighty God for all blessings, whilst searching for that beacon, at times on a murky road.

Through glorious hymns and carefully chosen biblical verses, as pilgrims I believe that we temporarily walk a path leading towards that wonderful shore one day.  We look the upward way from where help comes; in solitary and silences, when truth is being revealed each day.

Included in Wayfarer Psalms are meaningful and significant hymns, along with favourite verses from the scriptures I've chosen, numerous verses and hymns I grew up with and continuously live with, verses & random thoughts that occasionally come to mind at break of dawn. They were songs specifically written by our forefathers for the purpose of praise, adoration and prayer to God.

History of best-loved hymns and their hymn writers and  composers; biographies, from Martin Luther to other Christian leaders, are featured with grateful remembrance.

Some of these endeared hymns include the immortal

O Love That Wilt Not Let Me Go

and many more wonderful hymns of praise, comfort and hope...

I dedicate this site to those in search of something deeper, in terms of a personal relationship with God, and most especially those living alone, either by choice or circumstance, those gripped by life-threatening illness, lonely  and anxious, those who lost loved ones from finality of physical separation, and those who have become utterly hopeless for whatever reasons. You may be alone, but not alone. And I quote Christian lawyer Horatio Spafford, from one of my most endeared hymns, I'm sure a favourite of many of you out there,  it is well with my soul. God did not promise skies always blue, but He promised unfailing sympathy and undying love.

The darkest nights come before dawn.

Blessings,
Tel
