Sometimes, silence is the best solution when cares overwhelm, when 'whys' seem to pile up on top of each other, when path is occasionally clouded with stray thoughts. And life can be tiring and frustrating at times!
But once we let God speak, we listen and listen well, one of Jesus's promises somehow surface. Again, we are appeased. At peace, in the shelter of His loving arms.
Any believer in Christ will reflect with me Matthew 11:28-30 NIV.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.
and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me,
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
for I am gentle and humble in heart,
and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
What a soothing assurance of love and care.
