Echoes of Children's Laughter
In my mind the children's innocent and uninhibited laughter always reverberates, and their loving hugs warmly felt. Which reminds me of an Argentinian Proverb: "Children's love is like water in a basket."
Moments are savoured as shared. Life is made richer by the ebb and flow of memories - sad, pensive and happy. It's all in the sharing, and remembering together. Risotto. Tiger prawns, and a glass of Chardonnay. A cuppa. Home-made brownies. The Pelican Path was without pelicans later in the afternoon, instead, sea-gulls hovered. Another piece of that irresistible brownie.
A reflection about children from Matthew chapter 18 verses 2-5 (NIV):
"Jesus called a little child and had him stand among them. And He said, "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me."
The day softened.
