A Whisper of Hope

Life challenges but God is ever near, whispering his promise of hope to anyone who trusts him.

What do you do when your mind is overwhelmed with tasks waiting to be done, and as the day progresses, more unexpected challenges begin to unfold?

Sometime mid-morning, the diary of Anne Frank filled my restless thoughts. She once said: "He who has courage and faith will never perish in misery!" Inspiring words from a brave young girl facing a concentration camp and uncertainties of worse scenario, death. Yet, she found strength within herself under the most difficult circumstances.  Such admirable faith!

Slowly, my now melodic mind drifted next to the Wizard Of Oz's "Over the Rainbow" ... Dorothy sings with much hope, "... if happy little blue birds fly beyond the rainbow, why, oh why, can't I?"  But how?

Now, it's becoming clearer again ... that ever reminding words from God's heart, the loving father. "In all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your path."  Proverbs 3:6

God gently whispers, and to paraphrase Psalm 62:6: "My child, every time you feel the rumblings, run to your rock. Let me hold you together in a safe place until the worst will be over. Take comfort, and you won't fall apart. Trust me. Just trust me."
